Tomorrow May, Thursday 31st HHH project will be at the European Parliament, for the Science and Technology Options Assessment (STOA)

Manuel Franco, HHH project’ PI and professor of the Alcalá University (UAH) UAH and only Spanish researcher in the event “Invest in young researchers, shaping the future of Europe” in the European Parliament, will debate on citizen science and public health.

The European Parliament in Strasbourg and its European Parliament Scientific and Technological Options Assessment Panel (STOA) has organized the event “Investing in young researchers, shaping the future of Europe”, which will take place on Thursday 31 May in Strasbourg.

The meeting, which will be attended by three Nobel Laureates and European politicians at the highest level, aims to show how initiatives such as ERC (European Research Council) and programs such as Horizon 2020 can shape the future of Europe through the projects of most promising young researchers e in Europe.

The meeting will be developed through six parallel sessions. Manuel Franco will participate in the session on ‘Science policy, communication and global networks’ and will debate with other European scientific colleagues and politicians about their projects Heart Healthy Hoods and Fotovoz Villaverde and the potential of citizen science as an approach and methodologies innovative ways to improve the health of European citizens.
