Graduated in Geography and History. Interested on how social determinants of health contribute to disparities and how the physical environment can affect people’s health.

Interested in epidemiological methods, and social epidemiology, specifically the impact of neighborhood and social environment on health. My research lines have been focused on the evaluation of the impact of tobacco smoke free policies on people attitudes and behavioral changes, smoking patterns and second-hand smoke exposure.

Interested in urban health. My research is focused on the alcohol environment including how the availability and accessibility of alcohol products and its promotion can influence alcohol drinking behaviours.

Interested on how food environment factors -proximity and access to (un)healthy, affordable foods- influence food choices and diet quality.

Interested in the role of the Sports Science to reduce inequalities and improve access to physical activity. My research focus is the study of physical activity facilities and the development of sports policies to shape health inequalities.

Interested in a better understand how social determinants acts in the development of health inequalities, and in the strategics that contribute to reduce them. My focus areas are the immigration and the chronic diseases.

Interested in evaluating the effectiveness of strategies and interventions in primary care exploring the needs, perceptions and preferences of both patients and health professionals. Her current work focuses on the evaluation of the effectiveness of non-pharmacological interventions, no commercial drugs, implementation of clinical practice guidelines, chronic disease epidemiology, quality of life and health services use.

My work focuses in the evaluation of the effectiveness of non-pharmacological interventions, no commercial drugs and validity and qualitative studies within the primary health care setting. I am very interested in translational research, evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions aimed to vulnerable groups and maximizing the use of electronic medical records.

My work is focused on facilitating standardized data from electronic health records for proposals in primary care research. I am mainly interested in engaging healthcare professionals in research and that its results have a direct impact on the improvement of clinical practice.

Francisco Escobar’s research interests lie on geospatial information analysis and visualization. His work focuses on social applications of GIS and geospatial dynamic modeling.

Graduated in Environmental Sciences, with a Master degree in Geographic Information Technologies, my research interest is focused on Health Geography. Within the HHH project, I am studying the mobility patterns of the people through different urban environments using GIS and geographical analysis.

Graduated in Geography and Spatial Planning and Master in Geographic Information Technologies. My studies are focused on the analysis about the impact of the image of the city in urban behaviours. Geography of Perception supported by cartography and the latest GIS Technologies represent new ways to research in Public Health.

Interested in urban environment and health inequalities associated with class or gender. My research focus is how the design of urban parks and green cities  have an impact on physical activity levels and their relationship with urban dynamics such as gentrification.

Interested in the effects of food policies (prices, marketing, labelling, etc.) on the promotion of healthy diets and the prevention of non-communicable diseases

My research lines focuses on social inequality in regards to health, gender, immigration and social classes, throughout qualitative methods.

My research interest is the study of social problems in chronic disease -specially in aging-, quality of life in persons affected by several diseases and informal caregivers.

I am graduated in Sociology and I hold a master in Demography. I am doing a phD in Social Science and working as a researcher in training in the HHH Qualitative project with a FPI scholarship granted by the Science, Innovation and Universities Ministry. My research interests are focused on sociology of health, qualitative methods and demography. My ongoing research focuses on perceptions of tobacco and alcohol consumption in three neighbourhoods from Madrid with different socioeconomic status.

I’m interested in visual communication. My task is to provide graphic identity to the project and develop the pieces needed for communication.

As a photographer, I am intrigued by people, food and cities. HHH is thus a perfect fit. I am also working on a project intended to capture how climate change will affect different ecosystems.
